There was the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria...
A Columbus Day Workshop
Product Description
We have all heard the stories about what the sailors aboard Columbus's Spanish ships didn't eat...but do we really know what they did eat?
Playing off some of the ships terms and learning about life aboard these old wooden caravels will be some of the things we highlight as we prepare a meal fit for King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella themselves. We won't be building a sandbox on the deck of the boat and cooking over an open fire, but we will be sailing our way through a menu of Crow's Nest, (chicken stew), a more tasty version of Ship's Biscuits and, with influence from the New World- Banana Cake.
You've never experienced a Columbus Day quite like this one...And History has never tasted sooooo gooood.
