The Humble Potato

The potato may have originated in the Andes, but Ireland made it famous. And this year, we’ll be doing a little jig with a host of versatile and varied recipes all made from the humble potato. Every day favorites like Twice Baked Potatoes that are as big as your head and Crispy Potato Skins that will be the delight of any meal. But there are sure to be new favorites, as well. Potato Pie, for example. Or Provencale Potato Pasta and maybe even a little Potato Gnocchi or Soft Potato Rolls… Either way, we’ll be scrubbin’, peelin’ and munchin’ on America’s favorite vegetable.
