Three days in the kitchen, playing with food and nothing to eat? Amazingly...YES! Join us for a strange, but fun jaunt through your artistic side. We'll be creating a whole host of interesting projects in this art class for kids- using one of my favorite mediums: FOOD! We'll make our own vegetable dyes for tie-dye t-shirts; cut and carve potatoes for potato-stamped tote bags and carefully measure together the ingredients for a host of other silly, food-based and fun mediums. Ever used corn syrup as a base for paint? How about made silly putty in your kitchen? We'll pull out all the stops!
Meant to be a companion class to our "Christmas in July" camp the same dates, but can be stand-alone, as well.
You might want to wear something that isn't exactly a favorite...I'm not making any promises!
