Some of my favorite recipes have evolved from Cook's Illustrated. Maybe because it is a hometown-kind-of magazine, or more likely because they dissect the science in the art of cooking, I find myself referring back to them frequently. This camp seeks to capture the best of our favorite recipes from past issues. The technique for Pan Roasted Chicken Thighs with Rosemary sauce is pure elegance, while Fluffy Mashed Potatoes is a more basic accomplishment. Expect your kids to cook Roasted and Glazed Chicken, the most fabulous Cream Cheese Coffeecakeand the more unusual Vindaloo. A kid’s cooking class for those who are part artist, part scientist and fully curious.
