There are certain recipes that are a little more inspiring than others. They open a window into the realm of possibility and cause our minds to wander into new creations over and over again. These are the basis for our advanced classes. The idea here is simple. Through science, we’ll teach you a basic recipe that opens itself well to interpretation. Then through art, we inspire you with new ingredients, substitutions and imagination to recreate that recipe into something that is uniquely your own. Perhaps Cinnamon Swirl Bread becomes swirled with Mexican chocolate or bacon and eggs? Or a basic Short Pastry Crust gets additions of lemon and bits of white chocolate as the basis for your signature pie? Limited only by time, we’ll encourage the type of free-thinking that brings Danish Pastry to whole new heights.
